W-LAN-Verbot an Israels Schulen: bitte warten, bitte warten (Allgemein)

Hi All,

I've been getting many emails with questions as to the progress of our case to ban Wi-Fi in schools in Israel.

We had very busy couple of months with many submissions and finally I wrote down a short summary with the main events in the case.

Link to the update: http://ehsfighback.blogspot.com/2014/09/israeli-case-update-waiting-for-courts.html

Short Synopsis:
Essentially, following the conditional injunction that was issued in April, the Gov submitted its answer to the injunction on July 22nd. We (the Plaintiffs) responded with motions for a permanent and intermediary injunctions.

On the motion for a Permanent injunction, the court ruled that it cannot give a permanent injunction without a hearing, and a hearing was scheduled for February 11th, 2015. It is likely that it would be the last hearing in the case.

On the motion for an intermediary injunction (injunction until a decision on the permanent injunction is made), the Government responded to our motions on 26/8, and I respondent to its response on 28/8. However, today, instead of ruling on the motions, the Court ruled that the Plaintiffs (us) have until Sept 15th to respond to the Gov response. Since I already submitted my response, we are now just waiting for the other attorney to respond. I hope there would not be additional stalling and the Court will make a ruling on the intermediary injunction immediately after.

This is exhausting...:-)

Thank you.

Dafna
